Il Chiodo lies on an ideal spot – within short distance to the city centre of Pietrasanta (about 1 km). The house is located at the borders of the industrial area.
The city of Pietrasanta has its origin in the Middle Ages and is considered to be the “historical centre” of the Versilia and the “capital” of the artistic processing of marble. Pietrasanta has become a centre for artists of the whole world – the city came up to an open sky museum in the last few years. The many galleries and the public squares where frequently modern art and sculptures are hosted give the city an artistic touch.
Discover while strolling in the centre of Pietrasanta art galleries, boutiques, wine-shops and sophisticated restaurants. You may take a moment and visit one of the many beautiful churches of Pietrasanta.
The holiday home lies about 4 km from the sea of the Versilia, within short distance to Marina di Pietrasanta or Forte dei Marmi. The native house, in the tiny hamlet of Valdicastello, of the poet Giosuè Carducci is also a visit worth.
There is a golf court for golf players, about 1,8 km from the house.

Summer is an ideal period to visit Pietrasanta – many exhibitions and art fairs as spectacles in the park of Villa Versiliana in Marina di Pietrasanta take then place.

Interior Description

Access to the property within a common (with the property owners) garden gate, where guests may park their car. Independent entrance door on the front side of the house. The garden part in front of the house (separated by some plants) and to the sides of the house by a fence is used by the owners. The garden part (900sqm) on the backside of the house, where also the swimming pool is located at, is fenced (1,50 m net height ) and is at the exclusive use of the guests.

Entrance on the ground floor: living room with 1 double bed settee, tv, 1 pull-out bed, exit onto the garden on the backside of the house. 1 double bedroom with 1 en-suite bathroom with basin, wc, bidet and shower. 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, washing machine, basin, wc, bidet. Stairs to the 1st floor: spacious kitchen-cum-dining with stove (5 flames), oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, filter coffee brewer, table.

The house is furnished in country style – a warm and cosy atmosphere – beamed ceilings, rustic kitchen and walls painted in cheerful pastel colours.
From the living room access to the garden equipped with a table, chairs and barbeque for your dining al fresco. Swimming pool (10 x 4m, depth: 1.20m) with deckchairs and sunbeds.
The owners put 3 bicycles at the guests’ disposal.
Pets are welcome – the owners have 2 sausage dogs and a middle sized female dog.
WiFi is included, parking within the grounds. Upon request and payment on the spot, there is the possibility to have an additional pull-out bed which can be put in one of the two bedrooms.
