Seasonal rental Villa San Gimignano

This lovely property is located only 5 Kms from the centre of San Gimignano, famous for its beautiful towers. This is the place for those who look for peace and quiet, who like nature with just the sound of birds. Situated at less than two miles from San Gimignano, between Siena and Florence, this house, which used to be a watermill, lies in its own small valley, at the end of the path to the stream. There is no other house in sight, no noise at all, there is no TV, it is (by some 200 meters) outside the network for mobile phones. It has been restored by a Scottish architect who created a pleasant contrast between the wonderful antique brick vaulted ceilings and the contemporary design of the furniture and interior. The one-mile drive is not suitable for cars with low suspension or for nervous drivers.
Layout

Ground Floor: Large brick vaulted sitting room measuring 10m by 8m opening on to the garden and kitchen/breakfast room.
First Floor: Entrance; twin bedroom; 2 double bedrooms; 1 bathroom with shower and bath and separate utility area; 1 bathroom with shower only; master bedroom with full height glazed windows overlooking the garden with en-suite bathroom.

Cleaning service included 3 hours a week.

Rental prices include linen (changed weekly), final cleaning, electricity and hot water.
Heating is charged extra according to usage or fix fee.
Tourist tax is not included in the rental rate.
Arrival time is on Saturday between 4 pm and 7 pm (after 8 pm a fee of € 50 is required and after 10 pm the fee is € 100. Any late arrival has to be agreed in advance).
Swimming-pool is generally open from 26 May to 1 Oct. Different dates have to be arranged with the owner.
